Repair and Service of BMS Controllers

We also sell refurbished BMS Controllers, enabling you to keep your systems running safely and effectively for as long as possible. All recycled and refurbished components are subjected to stringent testing and quality assurance procedures. We can provide great value for money without compromising on performance and efficiency.

A repair or refurbishment by Triad Controls comes with a two-year warranty to give you peace of mind. In reality we see an expected eight year lifecycle for our customers who have a controller repaired by us.

We keep a large stock of spare parts, including some that are now discontinued by the manufacturers. Schneider no longer offers a repair service, but we can repair parts and make modifications to software to keep systems running efficiently. On average, we can keep supporting a system for about 10 years after a manufacturer declares it obsolete.

Our engineers have been trained directly by the major BMS manufacturers and we understand that when something goes wrong you need your BMS to be up and running again as quickly as possible. Hospitals, care homes and laboratories are among our clients who have a critical need for fully-functioning building management systems.

Components with a short life can be replaced to give you long-term reliability. Where it is appropriate, and provides best value for the client, we can offer a repair service and sometimes we can loan you a replacement part in an emergency while we carry out a long term repair.

We can also offer phased upgrades to help you spread the cost. This in turn also frees up spares that can be used to keep other parts of the system running smoothly.

We run a full test of all repaired units with the manufacturer’s own software to ensure that everything is working as it should before it is returned to you. For an extra charge we can make a site visit to install the repaired parts, if required.

Alternatively, we offer free telephone support if you want to fit units we have repaired. Swapping the controller can be confidently carried out by anyone with electrical knowledge. Our engineers will support you through the process with detailed instructions including how to change the controller, how to bring it online and how to reload the configuration back into the controller.
